A lovely engagement session at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood {Oregon Bride Magazine Feature} http://orbridemag.com/blog/sunny-rustic-mountaintop-engagement-session-timberline-lodge in their words:

New Oregonians Abbey and John’s trip to Timberline Lodge for their engagement session was also their first visit to Mt. Hood, and I couldn’t imagine a better place for a transplant couple to celebrate their upcoming nuptials. From the lush green surroundings dappled in sunshine to the scattered patches of crisp snow to the never-ending blue skies, our unofficial state monument sure makes for some lovely photo ops. Abbey and John will wed this month at Brasada Ranch in Bend—another lovely venue teeming with natural beauty, albeit that of a strikingly different landscape from Timberline’s. Although isn’t that diversity and accessibility of terrain what we all love so much about our state? If they aren’t yet, these soon-to-be newlyweds are sure to be smitten with Oregon by the time they’ve exchanged “I do’s.”  “Timberline Lodge is a mountain lodge on the south side of Mount Hood in Oregon. Built in the late 1930s, this National Historic Landmark sits at an elevation of 5,960 feet, within the Mount Hood National Forest and is accessible through the Mount Hood Scenic Byway. It is a popular tourist attraction, drawing more than a million visitors annually. It is noted in film for serving as the exterior of the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. We could not have been lucky enough with the weather for Abbey and John’s engagement session. It was a crisp, clear and simply gorgeous sunny day on Mt. Hood. They had never been to Timberline Lodge before as they are new to Oregon. We had a blast showing them around, admiring the views together, and getting to know this lovely couple more. We are excited to capture their wedding this fall at Brasada Ranch in Central Oregon.”
